Part 1: Oktoberfest
From a recent trip to Germany. First up – Oktoberfest in Munich, which involved beer, giant novelty snacks and beer.
On the first morning
A close-up of the campsite, which was largely inhabited by Australians.
The main route through the festavel, which got pretty busy pretty quick
Knocked back
The first beer
And the first of many giant novelty snacks
Prost!
Haitham being persuaded to buy a giant pickle from the pickle man
Mmmm
Washed down with beer. Beer makes everything better.
After a couple of beers
Whole roast chickens are classed as snacks

abstractly dead squirrel
Some recent experimentation with abstract photography which probably comes after reading too much Jonathan Luckhurst and Alexandre Cappellari. Also included is the tragic death of a squirrel.
and a varient
not actually that abstract
and finally if you don’t much care for dead animals, i sugest you do not continue and instead take evasive manoeuvres
strobe lights and lasers
just a quick update from some recent gig work, I realise there a good months gap between now and the last update but what with lenses, cars and broadbands breaking down, as well as Christmas its been a busy month. anyhow, on to the photography -
the lighting at the venue was pretty hit and miss, mostly miss.
smoke machines!
and the final image, which i’m pretty happy with.
also coming soon i’ll be updating some of the work on sale at creation studios, so if you haven’t been down already check it out and stay tuned!

trees, fireworks and night
First off with some sales – a selection of prints can now be brought from the good people at Creation Studios, 16 Trongate, Merchant City, Glasgow. Just in time for christmas! so you should absolutely go have a look.
And so in no particular order -
bonfire night
testing the new lens
cat
dog licking cat. cat putting up with it.
tree top series
in Sapporo Teppanyaki for Steph’s birthday, which was lots of fun
fire was abundant
good eats
in the club afterwards
some more night work
so that’s another mega backlog catchup over, more frequent posts will be a new years resolution, a list that seems to grow daily.
